Successful Treatment of Intractable Hiccup with Methylphenidate in a Lung Cancer Patient (PubMed)
Case report published in the February 2003 issue of Support Care Cancer of a lung cancer patient whose persistent hiccup was refractory to classic treatments. Methylphenidate, a mild central system stimulant, was then started at 10mg and found to be rapidly efficient and well tolerated. [2/03]
