2003 meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) that
found that CT-guided, percutaneous lung cryotherapy (PLC) can be effective
in treating lung cancer tumors with minimal discomfort and damage to adjacent
tissues. Describes the study, conducted by Dr. Peter Littrup of Wayne
State School of Medicine, of PLC performed on 187 patients with encouraging
